Three Sisters

This picture of three Nace sisters was  probably taken during the late 1960s or early 1970s.

  1. Interesting site. Your mention of Buchanan caught my eye. Back in 1971 I was hitchhiking through that part of the country and happened to spend one night in Buchanan. The place I stayed was an odd old hotel. I paid $3 for a large room with its own bathroom and three beds. It was not very nice or well kept, but it was cheap and a place to stay out of the rain. As I walked up the stairs to my room, on the first landing on the wall was a framed picture of Robert E Lee with a caption that said that the General had stayed there. I don't know if that were true or not. I tried to see if I could see if the old building was still there last time I was passing through that area a couple years ago. I didn't see anything that I remembered and since I was in kind of a hurry and it was Christmas Day I didn't investigate much.

I was wondering if you knew anything about this old hotel that I stayed at. I'm guessing that it's probably gone after all of these years.
